Video from Trekking @ Forbidden Drive

Here's a little video (Using the CameraPhone) I tossed up to Google Video From our Outing - Not the best - but better than no video...

Is it Really Winter in Philadelphia?

Hard to Believe it is winter in Philadelphia. We set out for a walk – feels more like camping in Roadabode weather than almost February. Enjoyed trekking along Forbidden Drive in Fairmount Park, and taking some smaller side paths along the way.

When walking along the path to Valley Green Inn (a great place for a romantic dinner by the way) you do not feel like you are in a major metro area. All you can see is trees, bikers, joggers and horseback riders. No road noise, just wind thru the trees, and sounds of people having a great time.

There were still plenty of icicles on the large stone formations on the side of Forbidden Drive.

Ducks and Geese enjoyed being fed this sunny, warm, winter day.

What's a few extra girls???

Our friends are traveling to China (for the 3rd time) to increase their family by 1 more girl!!! For the next 2 weeks we are blessed by having their 2 daughters stay with us. Our 2 girls are loving the extra play-mates. We are having a good time so far, we're at day 2. The 4 girls enjoy reading, playing games, and "chatting". Tomorrow we are planning on getting together with the other new addition to our family, Kyla.

Geek Family fun New Years Day

Geek Family fun New Years Day
Like Mother - Like Daughter - Actually - all three girls were on laptops - Emily & Kimberly were playing on our old ones - a flash version of 'Sonic' - Amy - on the brand-spankin' new one - a version of Tetris...
Me? I originall posted this from the cameraphone - afterward I ended up doing MS, SpamBot, and AntiVirus updates on the Workstation in the basement...
Would rather be camping in RoadAbode.
